would you mind giving me your opinion on gear ratio's ?

did the intake , 65mm and tune . car runs great . but like everyone wheels spin too much . I have read how much you like and recommend the wavetrac so I want to install one .

question is keep stock ratio or go to 3.27 ? I only use it on the street and had always thought 3.07 wavetrac would be fine . but spoke with Jim and he said he has a 3.27 complete ready to go he would sell .

biggest concern is that the higher ratio would have the rear end spinning again even with the wavetrac .

any input ?

Doc! What's going on man? Was parusing and stopped in. Then I started searching to see who had my car now. Some days I miss it. Others not as much, knowing there was no more power to be found without huffing the spray in the V6. How are things with you? Hope the cars are holding up well!

Doc, No problem, I sold the 86 Vette & should be completing the sale on the SRT-6 Roadster tomorrow. Will post pictures and information later this week. Thanks, Glen.

Oledoc2u, I talked to you earlier this year about my goal to trade my 20K mile 86 Corvette for a low miles SRT-6 Coupe or Roadster. I pulled the Vette out of winter storage several days ago with the plan of putting it on Craigslist. But one of the members posted an SRT-6 Roadster that is in the Detroit area, (at a dealer) that I plan on looking at Tomorrow. Hope it is not sold. Are you available for guidance? 24K miles $17K.
