    Check Engine Light:
Just tell them to buy the module from Mercedes, list price for the relay control module from Chrysler is 397.00. List price from Mercedes is 199.00. When a dealership buys from another they get a discount too. Also you can buy it online much cheaper. Relay Control Module
MB #170 545 03 05 Mopar #5099007AA. Now they don't need your half anymore and can pay for it themselves.

    OEM (Mercedes #A112 094 00 48) and larger MAF Mercedes #A 113 094 00 48 .
The original OEM MAF sensor replaces the one in the larger MAF unit.

Throttle Body #A113 141 01 25 (Used) fitted to OEM MAF and MAF elbow

Engine cover A112 090 11 01 (New but with storage marks)

    Engine cover nose piece A112 010 04 67 (New)

    Intakes A112 094 35 82 (top) and A112 094 34 82 (bottom) both used.

Spacers to move intake pipes forward by 1" so that they enter the holes in the radiator support more. They are made from 3" inside diameter ABS plumbing pipe. They are a snug fit on the engine cover and intake pipes so no clamps are needed.

Installed Merc cover and new inlet tubes.

I have removed the OEM fittings from the front face of the rad support and modified the new intakes to pass through the rad support.

    Similarity to SLK 320
While you may want to buy SLK320 parts for the limited, you'll be shopping for SLK32 AMG parts for the SRT6.
SLK320 as far as the engine, electronics, drive train and chassis, and interior go.

    Typical problems:
If it's an 04 check the build date, if it was built before dec of 03 it may be prone to the first gear pop out.

Other than that the typical known issues apply, if you have done homework on the site you should have an idea of what you are getting into. (CPS, RCM, sticky ignition, headliner etc.).

    Fan
The radiator fan fuse is in the little box with the flip up lid just in front of the battery.
    2 ways to test :
    1. measure the voltage on the end of the fuse NOT connected to the battery buss bar, you should see 12.7 volts or better.
    2. disconnect the negative battery cable, then remove the fuse and measure it with an ohm meter. You should see 0 ohms or thereabouts.

NOTE: this fuse supplies power to the Fan Control Module mounted on the left fender well.
This module is controlled by the PTCM to regulate the fan speed.
