Meet in colorado?
Hey how 's it going. I have the roadster in the garage covered. I took it out a couple of weeks ago just to run to the store. We will be out and about once the weather gets better. I wqs thinking of Breakenridge in Jan. for the snow carving festival. It is a fun day but normally I drive the 4 wheel drive for that trip.
All you guys in CO should check out the Western States thread I started ...
we're going to get a first-class Western States GTG going in springtime ... as quickly after the snow clears as possible ...
Please stay tuned in for updates on this meet ... or, drop me a note so that I have your contact info and will be able to let you know what's happening just as soon as it becomes clear ...

It might be entertaining as heck to go up into the mountains, test out our Traction control and ESP systems, and have a drifting contest.

We didn't drive it in the storm, or to and from work, but we did take it out and play with it in the snow in the neighborhood, and I did a run to pick up Papa Murphy's for dinner one night.
I actually am very surprised by how well the system works with the AS Continentals.
Traction control lets you spin the tire for a bit, and then brings it under control.
ABS allows you to actually steer the car, and the ESP actually allows you to make those maneuvers without the whole unwanted spin effect.
Personally, with a good set of winter tires, I can easily see the Crossfire as a half decent winter car. I grew up driving RWD cars, and I can easily say that this car beats out the '81 Pontiac Grand Prix for being safe and capable in the snow.

Anyone want to get together next weekend?
Its supposed to be in the 40's, which is slightly better than this weekend's 30's.
If anyone is interested, we can toss around a couple ideas of where, and if it would just be a meet and greet, or if you might be up for a drive along the Front Range.
Also, was anyone driving the Crossfire Coupe North on Wadsworth Blvd on Wednesday?
I was heading down to the Porsche Dealership on Colfax when I saw one turn left onto Wadsworth, and was wondering if it might have been someone from here.
