Stan, an excellent idea! Perhaps we can do the car show as a group, be great to see a bunch of us all in one spot, showing our rides and making friends. What say you?

Seems like my wife doesn't want to do a party on Sunday because she gets up at 4:30 for week during the week. So we'll have to go back to our original plan of a Saturday outing. Comeon people throw some more dates my way!

I see that you posted this on the 21st, it's now the 25th. Come on now NEX members, Stan has a nice place, a nice pool and Val is great too. See what you can do to help him make this happen, it's not like he's asking anyone to paint his house!!! Rick |

Summer dates are pretty well taken up with boating/vacations. You probably won't see Lorna and I at NEX events until fall. Our summer schedule is a hectic, but fun one. Bob |

Wow! Congratulations on your 40th!! My wife and I will hit our 30th in the year 2011! Hope I make it to our 40th!!
The outing is definitely on for Saturday the 16th with a rain date of Sunday the 17th. Plan for an arrival of around 2PM and we will start cooking around 3PM. We are providing chicken, hot dogs, sausages and hamburgers and limited amount of water and soda. Along with all the condom mints! LOL!;) We have a decent size pool for swimming, a limited number of chairs, fire pit for the evening and a large driveway for our XFires and Jens Harley! ++You should bring++ Your own chairs if possible. Your preference of drinks. (Alcohol or non) Your favorite side dish. (Lets try to not duplicate salads) We can start a menu if you'll wish. Hope everyone is having a great summer!! |

Just to reiterate the point, because I originally left the times out of the post. Plan for an arrival time at my place for 2PM and the cooking will start at 3PM. :rolleyes: Please bring along one of your favorite dishes to supplement the menu.:D If anyone would like, I can email directions. Please comment in the menu thread that Alana has started! I would like to see what everyone is bringing. We are providing the meats, roll, potato salad, pasta salad, ceaser salad and corn on the cobb. I know that doesn't leave much except for deserts and beverages. Here are some suggestions. *Water, wine or coolers, soda, juices. *Baked beans, chili, bean salad, vegetable platter. *ICE and coolers are always good to have. *Fruit salad, watermelon, chips and dips.
