Default Crossfirfun is OK !

I am passing on the news. I emailed Phil. (Crossfirefun). I know he lives in the ice affected area. If he hadn't replied by email today, I was going to call him. Anyhow, he emailed me from his cell phone and said his power has been out since Friday and is not expected to be back on until Monday of Tuesday. They are doing OK because he has a generator and has been able to run the heat at his house. Of course, he says the generator is the best investment he ever made. His cell service is spotty in their location and he doesn't have any internet service.

Good to hear Phil is OK, he did post on the CICCI forum right after the storm from his phone, I'm not sure if he's able to post to this forum from his phone.

There should be a rule...

Owners of Crossfires shall NOT live in areas that do not allow the owner to drive the Crossfire year round.

That way we wouldn't have to worry about folks!

I usually put mine away in the winter, like phil, but I have not done so as yet. It's just way too much fun to drive. We had some rain that flooded a few areas, on those rainy days I drove my truck. After the rain it was nice I took the car out and drove it some more. There were some pretty hefty spots where ice formed. It stopped well on the ice and handled just like it should. I decided to test the ESP and man, was I surprised, not a bit of fish tailing occured. I am once again, impressed by this car.
I just LOVE it!!!

Hi all!!!
We finally got power at 4:30 tonight. I really missed coming on line and seeing my friends. I cant access this site from my phone, it wont give the password correctly.
It is a war zone around here. Looks like a tornado came through. Trees and power lines are all over the place.
The trees are such a problem they brought out off road tractors to drive down the highway and clean up.
Picture miles and miles of trees just toppled onto the road.
I have pictures of the trees around my house that I will upload when I get a chance.(some pictures posted)
Thanks for all the well wishes. We were safe and warm with family, Thats all that matters.
Oh and I checked on my car daily. Can you imagine he let the power go out in the garage and wasted his generator warming his house!!
