Spring cleaning

Hi all,
Well spring is trying to arrive, and Bill and I have the srt6's back on the road. I want to do some spring cleaning and have noted my wheel rims are black. Suggestions for the best clean up method? Thanks,
Barbara:confused:

Re: Spring cleaning

Barbara, to help cut down on the amount of brake dust try replacing your present pads with some aftermarket name like Rotex Gold. You can find them online at www.brakeworld.com

There are a few other brand names out there that do just as well; I'm just familar with the Rotex's.

To get them cleaner quicker you can try a spray bottle of wheel cleaner like Meguiars Gold. Just spray it on & use a paintbrush or toothbrush to get into all the corners. Rinse it off & hit it again if it still needs some work. Voila', clean wheels again:D !

The Rotex's (or similar) are the way to go, long term. I hate cleaning my wheels, takes too much time.

Once or twice a year depending on how much I drive the car I take the wheels off and give them a good cleaning with soap and water. Then a good coat of wax. This makes clean up more easy the rest of the time. Rotex Gold is the way to go as stated above.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll see how the wax works, may change the break pads down the road.
