Default New member from Northumberland

Hi guys,

My name is Mike, I am 24 and from Northumberland. I'm currently driving a 2007 Ford Fiesta ST and am debating going for a Crossfire. I'm yet to drive one, but love the way they look and think they are very good value for money. I've read some mixed things so I'd be keen to know what you guys love and loathe about owning a Crossfire.

Thanks in advance,

Smiiithy

Welcome and hope you choose to buy one. They are great little cars, I'm sure you will love it. Where is Northumberland, England or Pennsylvania? If it's Pa, I just live up the road, if it's GB, it's a little farther away.

Northumberland, Pa. is a little town in north central pa on the Susquehanna River. There some good driving roads in the vicinity also. It's too bad we won't have a chance to meet but I'm sure that we'll see you around the forum. As far as the car, I can't think of one thing that I don't like, except for the cup holder. Buy one and be prepared to fall in love.

Welcome from an ex Whicham, Tyne and Wear resident !
Find an SRT6 if you can, and be prepared to get the biggest bang for the buck in the country .....
I'm a little biased, the NA's are fun cars too ......................

The Crossfire is all love.... the only people who don't like the car are those who rely on a dealer to maintain it.

I'm not being sarcastic, it's the truth... for a whole host of reasons and if you read the forum enough, you will understand.

The Crossfire turned me INTO a car guy at age 49, most fun I've had on wheels ever!

Welcome from SW Scotland - just over the border - well, not that far!
Lots to love - nothing to loathe.
Like any car, they're not quite perfect but assuming you've done your basic research, you'll know they're at least 80% Mercedes so quality & reliability are not serious issues.
You've already come to the right place - lots of info and friendly advice on this forum to save you getting stiffed by the stealerships.
I strongly second the SRT recommendation - just taken mine to Edinburgh & back today - Devil's Beef Tub route - what a ride - what a blast!
Just do it - you will NOT regret it!
What bad stuff have you heard? Be specific - we can help!
