New to Forum
I just want to say hello to all the Crossfire enthusiasts. I am happy to say my 05 Crossfire Limited Conv 6spd will be delivered Monday early afternoon via single car enclosed carrier. I hope to learn the in's and out's that only an own would be really familiar with here on the forum.

NICE! And a sex speed to boot!
Thank you everyone for the welcome. I hope I'm responding in the right area. Thank you for the compliments on the car. The fellow I purchased it from was a fanatic and the car is close to new condition with 18k miles. I'm located on Long Island in Nassau County. I've had an assortment of cars but have always loved the look of the Crossfire. My last sports car was a Corvette C6 first year of the new body style. It was a great car and I kept it until last Nov. when I traded it in with 33k miles. It was a second vehicle, more of a sunny day drive like the Crossfire will be. I look forward to reading through the post to see what I can learn. Thanks again for the welcome
PS.. I see someone asked what else the previous owner might have added. Off the top of my head I remember the glass wind screen has the car etched into it. I'll post a photo of that shortly

Mark, was that meant to be a "Freudian" slip?
Or are your "Real" feelings about your manual trans showing?

1) Best social event we have is in two weeks (kinda short notice, I know):

2) "Sticky Key Fix" - this one is a must.
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...n-key-fix.html
3) Be ready, just in case:

4) You only want FLEECE oil filter cartridges in that engine.
Typing too fast - or maybe it is a 'slip'...
Wow, thank you I will read those now. Definitely appreciate the information.

Thanks. This looks like a fun place, so much information to explore....
Welcome From the Bluegrass State Kentucky , Your going to love the new ride , going on 8 Years with my Crossfire , but most of all going to in joy the great group of people here. I see were you have had Corvette , just got a 2007 C6 a year ago to go with the Crossfire .
Thank you for the welcome. I loved my C6, it was a great car and gave me 0 problems. I was torn when buying it between the C6 and the Z06, but I really wanted an open top. After years with the targa I wished I went for the conv. I'm a bit of a car nut and have close to 50 vehicles. I haven't seen the new C7 in person yet, but hoping the backend looks better in person. If so it may make it into my garage one day
I currently have an ML350 which is my daily driver. I look forward to getting to know the group here.

aside from the wheels not being a style that I personally enjoy, you have what is pretty much my ideal convertible, especially with the SRT bumper already on there.. congrats!
Thank you Rayth. Wheels are definitely a very personal extra. I'm lucky because I purchased the car with those wheels and I do like them. Actually much to my surprise, when the car was delivered today I realized the rims are silver and white. In the photos I thought they were completely silver, in person the white really looks good with the Alabaster body color. This winter I plan to pull the tires and paint the calipers, either white to match the body or black to match the top.
