Lafayette, here I am !
Hy to all,
Here is the place of your french accent lesson.
I am fan of cars since I was a kid with a ton of matchbox models. I dream of a Cross since 2003, when my Cherokee reseller gave me a Cross key-ring that I always have, All new... yes true.
I just order mine to a local reseller, here in the southern area of France, called Languedoc, on the Mediterranean sea side, who have recuperate a car, he had formerly sold new. As I am used to cars which reach the 0 driving licence in a few seconds, I am more inspired buy the beauty of the object. As the poet Guy de Maupassant, I am moved by thighs and bottoms. And this car has a so incredible one !
I am also very happy to make new friends whith it and with this site.
Best to all.

We have a sister site of CrossfireForum in France, named CROSSFIRE-GARAGE, with more than 1300 members, and I think a few of them are also members of our US grand brother. I own my Cross since less than a week. It is a classic coupé, limited, bva, sapphire silver blue. strictly in original condition (my objective is more oriented to collection).
For the colour, I had no former choice but in my area, we have 300 sunny days per year so a light one is well.
It is equiped with the french market catalog otions : ground carpet, lugage cover screen, anti robbing wheels screw, rear parking radar.
it is from march 2005 with 62 000 km (guaranted).
it is in a collection statement and has been completely prepared and revised (its why I should prefer that you wear a mask to look the photos below
) new Pirelli tires, new brakes...
I am a more than precautionous guy but I ask me how the former owner has been able to drive it without siting in and without leaving his garage.
it has all it's accessories as new, and a 6 months warranty fromm the Lancia/Chrysler...Jeep-Dodge reseller who sold it.
it has it's up to date maintenance book and official technical control and the name phone and address of the 2 former owners, who are still customers of the reseller. It has all her original manual in french exept the radio "Becker-Infinity" one. I found the english one on the net : cr210_cassette_2162
If someone find a original french one, he is welcome.
The only things which was not perfect was the wheels center caps insigna. I say was, because I found like new ones from a guy from Virginia. I order and wait for them from UPS
Endly the reseller deliver it with a half tank of gasoline and a case of champagne with 2 glasses.

If you are looking to have the car "true original", then be aware that the flip-up cup holder has been replaced with the bin.
( really nice looking car )

Thanks, but in France we don't drink Coca-cola all the day, just (wine) during the meals, and not when driving (it is expressly forbidden by the french road code to phone, read, drink, eat ... when driving, your hands must be free) so in France the Cross was originally sold with this magnificent jewelry box.

Maupassant ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_de_Maupassant ) has written a lot of delicious novels with often a touch of sexuality finely put
. Like the curves of our Cross.
Hi Ala,
I think you're wright to.
It seems that depending of the year, The Cross was delivered, here in France, somme years with the cup holder and some with the bin (the cup holder being on optional list)
Due to my own use, in a first step it will stay like that.
On an other matter, I check for a spray of "Sapphire silver blue" color. If someone know where to find (surely not in France) please tell me.
