well hello to all, new member, 04 red coupe, 24k miles, great deal from Bakersfield CAL. After months of research, had to have one....got it for the wife, she loves it..however, 2 tickets in 5 days, 2 states..... it does drive nice... live in Prescott Valley Arizona, real estate. I'm looking to chg oil myself........

 

I have had better luck not getting tickets in my ssb then other vechicles, usually they are to interested in wanting to know about my car.

Welcome and drive it fast, but avoid the tickets!!!

Changing the oil yourself is very easy, especially if you have an oil evacuator. I suck it out of the dipstick no problem. Also, these cars are easy to change the filters. Right up front and on top of the engine. Just make sure you get a Mann or appropriately qualified filter and put the insert in properly. Use Mobil one fully synthetic. Get it on sale. Saves a lot of money and time doing it yourself.
