Hi. Being a new owner to a 2005 Crossfire I have encounter one problem I am having a problem with. My spoiler when lowered by the dash switch wants to come back up quickly. Can I lower the spoiler and pull the fuse and keep it lowered all the time. Because when the spoiler is up the top don"t want to lower. Help would be appreciated. I can be reached by phone at 423-208-7423 if any members would rather tell how to cure my problem thanks, Don

It will go down as long as under 64 mph, are you holding the switch down long enough?
If not held down switch long enough for it to go completly down the wing will just go back up.
Takes a few seconds holding switch mine will beep at me when it is down then I let finger off of the switch.

Well, first check the battery voltage. The spoiler coming up on it's own is a sign of low voltage.
You should see 12.1-12.3 volts with everything off, 14.2 - 14.5 with the engine running.

Removing fuse #20 may have other adverse effects, it does supply power to the BCM for the spoiler motor drive, but may well be the source of power for other BCM functions.

Welcome to the forum. Its kind of a joke here that the spoiler is the best voltage/ amperage meter the car could have. Ala_xfire is steering you in the best direction to start with this problem. Give it a check both running an not. Let us know what you find. It so rainy around here the last few days , garage work is the only thing you can do....lol. I'm in Knoxville, so not far away. If problem is something else let us know. You found the best place in the world for support, for this car. Here's to quich an easy. Enjoy the (s)miles..
