Hi Folks. Just last week picked up a beauty 05 Roadster Limited from just north of Edmonton. Drove it back that day to Winnipeg (13 hours straight). Driove like a dream. This is a US car with 45,000 mi and was obviously only summer driven. Very happy with it so far. Looking forward to learning more about this great car.

Thank you all for the welcome! It's nice to belong. Thanks also for your sympathy with the sore back and butt! I was a bit stiff the next day but was expecting a lot worse. Not 18 anymore!

DTR's are not and issue as they were already done 6 years ago when the car first came north of the border. I am taking it in on Wed for the mandatory safety inspection required for licensing here in Manitoba. Fingers crossed!

Is there anything I should ask the Crossfire tech about while it's in the shop? I don't have any maintenance history on this car so at 45,000 miles is there anything specific I should have performed. Correct oil was changed less than a year ago and tires are new. There is a bit of rattle from the back half somewhere when the top is both up or down. Is that normal?

Change the oil and filter again so you know where you stand for sure.
Air up the tires.
Have alignment checked.
Change air filters and cabin filter.
Think about a coolant and brake fluid flush soon, also top hydraulic fluid and power steering fluid.
( 50/50 distilled water & Zerex G05, DOT 4 brake fluid, Pentosin CHF for PS and top )
The rattle is not normal, something is loose. Check the rear suspension, sway bar and shocks first.
