Default Hello, I'm new here and this is my story.

I was out looking for a car for my new job that will involve driving between locations. I didn't want to nor could I afford to spend a lot of money so I was digging through a lot of junk.
I had just cruised through a lot that I didn't even bother to slow down to look at anything, and headed off toward some other lots. As I rolled up to a red light I passed a car for sale sitting out front of **** shop, just got a glance and decided to go back.
When I got turned around I saw it was a Crossfire, and figured it would be more than I could afford. Took a look anyway.

2004 Crossfire, 27,000 miles.
$5500 OBO

I paid less than that, a came home with one Very Sexy car.

I had read about them way back then, but I never thought I would get to drive one, let alone own one.

Well....., I have described it as a shall we say extension of myself that I bought outside Sinfull Sensations.

Sliding into that Black Leather seat, and feeling her warm you as you become one with her, You don't get in the car, You put it on, and become one.

Now the other side of that story is it is very early in the relationship, and I already know of a skeleton in her closet. I can forgive past misdeads, and I know she will do her best not to repeat that mistake again.

She was Stolen, well that's what the Police report (Carfax) she hasn't told me much more than that, and I'm not really pressuring her for answers.
She's a special girl.

usually it doesn't matter but in your situation... so was it male or female owned?

nice price assuming there is still a clean title.

stolen huh? does the ignition key also work in the drivers door?
this is a rare scenario as these cars hardly ever come up stolen, usually its someone that drunk crashes into a pole and then walks home and reports it stolen.

your missing the cupholder, that can be replaced with the storage bin and fill in the hole in your center counsel.

Maybe it was stolen just for the cup holder, now that really would be a first.

I was under the impression that our cars cant be stolen unless physically stolen nor cranked without a key. Nice ride!

All I know is it shows up as being stolen in 2013. Could be exactly as you say.
I already use the cupholder slot for my phone, and plan to add a QI charger and storage bin.

Congrats on purchase and good to see another member from Illinois.
I live I southern IL
Atleast you have a 6 speed
I grew up in central IL.
How are the rear tires and what are they, need to make sure they are not summer only tires or could be alot of problems, but manual is definitely better if on slick roads.

Nice Find, especially mileage & price. May need basic maintenance, change all fluids w/right stuff. Learn here about crankshaft position sensor, etc. Best Wishes!

Lot's of cars and trucks are stolen here in Charlotte,NC with the keys left in the ignition. Maybe that's what happened with your car. Squirrel Crusher

I just put a pair of Tigerpaws on the back and it quite well in the recent snow we had, and also have improved my dry weather taction as well.

The Cooper Zeon's I took off are definitely Summer tires.
