Im a high school auto shop teacher and picked this up from a fellow teacher after it had been sitting for a few years. After installing a new fuel pump. Filter, and crank sensor i was able to start it. Still a ways to go but should be a fun project for my students.

The forums will be invaluable to you and you students. I applaud you in teaching the kids how to work on their own cars

I very much appreciated my high school shop classes and how for me they provided life long skills and experience that I've used with the different homes and cars I've had. I also went to a technical vocational school for electronics while in High School. It's rewarding to make or repair something yourself. It's also a good excuse to buy a new tool if needed. With many projects over the years I've very much enjoyed passing along those skills to my two sons. Since then, thanks to employer educational reimbursement, I have three college degrees and am now nearing retirement. As I look back I never regret taking those shop classes and am very thankful they were available.

Glad to hear about what you are doing, and wish you and your students success. I believe others in the forum would appreciate updates on the Crossfire restoration progress and even including who is doing what.

Thank you very much. My students students do enjoy the various projects I come up with during the year and seeing the progress of the work they are doing themselves. Most of my students only want the information for personal projects with only a few transitioning into the automotive field. I will keep you guys updated.
