Default The new guy, an old fart

Hello everybody, I am a newbie, picked up an aero blue 05 limited coupe with 45,000 miles on it about a month ago and have been using the expertise of you folks to correct several minor issues on my car, I actually bought an 05 SRT new in 08 when they could not give them away, and had to sell it months later when the economy went to hell. Anyway nice to be on board, never done any forums before, not sure how it all works, am old and not very computer savvy, and will not do social sites such as assbook or any other. I use to restore mopar muscle cars and gave that up years ago, however, doing that taught me the importance of having extra parts and so I also picked up an 04 crossfire that was smaked in the front for spare parts

Welcome to the forum & stop whining about 65 being old , it isn't , especially here .
This site is the best thing that can happen to a crossfire owner regardless of age .

Welcome to the forum
No age restrictions here
We are just one big family who love the same car
Look it the "Crossfire meets" section here in the forum
There are annual events where many of of all ages attend to meet one another and enjoy some daily driving at nightly dining
I've been here for 12 years and have attended many and I have made many friends all around the country
Hope to meet ya at one of the events this summer
Enjoy your time here

Gary

As AMX1397 replied age on the forum does not matter---he sounds like a carguy like me--I have been bujlding/restoring since I was 16---39 ford coupe/olds engine, several model A;s, 6 Corvettes, 3 T Birds, 57 & 58 Ford Skyliners, several 58 Impalas, 59 El Camino,..50 Ford woodie wagon(almost finished). numerous street rods, etc. ---now its crossfires---in the middle now of repaint (color change) . interior change on 05 crossfire roadster--this may be my last project---76 years ---slowing down--things not as easy as years ago.--still enjoy shop time. Crossfire is a fun car.

yep, I am a car guy. been building cars since 1968. Almost all were Mopar muscle. I raced in the 70's in NHRA and you got it, it was a six cylinder-inline 225 slant 6- In the 80's and 90's restored around 25 cars including 6 challengers, one GTX convertible, and a Hemi 4 speed Superbird, ( younger members need to look this model up) As I mentioned I am not forum savvy. I dont know the best way to access responses to my initial post, I just keep scrolling down to it, maybe someone can give me better insight. Thanks to everybody

Alan
