new old member
Hello, not a new member that is old(well maybe that too), but a member who was on here about years ago when I had a 2005 coupe, that was stolen by a psycho woman(long story), then didnt have a crossfire for years, now all of a sudden I have 6....(how did that happen??...lol)....anyway, I have lots of problems with them, so I will be doing a lot of research and work on them..I am located in san antonio texas...one of mine I decided to make a parts car( 05 coupe)...I will sell parts off of it when I get what I need for the others..again, happy to be back..
If I did, I would have nowhere to put it, but I'll surly let you know. My 2005 Crossfire will be 17 years old this month since I purchased it and has 23,000 miles on it.
If you're willing to travel, then you can probably pick this one up:

I went and looked at it this past weekend. It is pretty rough, but not rusted. Pics on the ad are old. Right headlamp and foglamp are broken. Left one is very yellowed. Car started up, but on a test drive, began running poorly. I thought at first it could be a head gasket, but given the bad smell, I am guessing that it just has really bad gas in it. A/C runs, and pipes get cold but nothing but hot air in the cabin. Car did not overheat. Interior is kind of a mess. Left rear tire is down to the cords. I offered $1250 for it, and they accepted, but after the bad running on the test drive, my son decided he was not interested.
It could be repaired with a solid weekend's worth of work, but I view it more as a parts car.

hmmm, I have everything to fix that...but that is a LONG drive from me...I appreciate it, and I will mull it over....yeah that car could go either way....parts or fix...either way it is definitely worth 1250.00
