Hello all, I have been looking at all sorts of cars to purchase in the past few months, I am a mustang guy and have owned several and still have a GT350 in my garage. So the Crossfire has always intrigue me. I love the look and I think the performance of the SRT series would accommodate my spirited drive once and awhile when I get the itch. I live in Riverview Florida and looking for a convertible that is in good shape. Price would be warranted to condition and how I would get it to Florida if out of this area. The car will be well taken care of. All of my cars are pampered and well cared for for the life of my ownership. So if your looking to get rid of your baby let me know.

I would suggest you look over the cars posted as available For Sale in the New Crossfire Marketplace Forum within the Marketplace section of this forum. Lots of cars available from Crossfire Owners that probably meet your overall requirements.

Hello and welcome! If I were you, I would be all over the search engines for crossfires with low mileage/price. After selectine the ones closest to you maybe finding nothing, you should expand your search distances. Ther are also some members who pride themselves in helping evaluate local cars in the area they reside, for you. Do your homework (basic) and make sure you find an independent european mechanic not associated with the seller, for any indepth inspection (as the crossfire is basically an SLK-320). Once you get (pay for) a good evaluation of the car your interested in, then you can maybe 'haggle' a purchase price. Here is to hoping all the boxes are 'checked off', and your now a crossfire owner? Here, this forum, is the BEST resource to helping you keep her on the road. There are 'endless' help topics, and a downloadable series of manuals and mods done and posted by the membership. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips and suggestions. I have worked on hot rods all my life and I most definitely will be thorough when selecting my new toy. I live in the Tampa bay area and there are several listings for them in our area. The on in Al has me intrigued I'm afraid it has been sitting for a long time and could have some possible seal issues from that. Do you have any resources that I could hire to go check the vehicle out and give me a honest assessment of the condition of the car. I have asked for more photos and a little more information about the car and if it has been run or started periodically with no response. I do understand the health challenges and don't want to be pushy. Any suggestions would be helpful.
