New Member IntroductionsWelcome new members !!
This is the place to post a new thread and introduce yourself and tell us a little about yourself and what model Crossfire you just bought or are looking to buy.
Threads created for anything other than introductions are subject to be moved to the appropriate section in the forum for the topic being posted.
Been viewing these forums since 2009ish, about TEN years before I even owned my Crossfire. I’m going on about 4 years of ownership now and thought I would introduce myself. I know many of you from the Facebook groups but wanted to get to know more of you.
I know my build is not for everyone, especially the purist, but the goal was to do something nobody else has. To take this car in a direction I have not seen anybody else do. The car has a long ways to go before I consider it done, but for now the car is sitting in a state I really enjoy.
I was inspired by the stance crowd, JDM drift guys, Japanese car culture and the static/slammed cars I follow. I only know of about 3-4 stanced Crossfires so that’s why I chose this platform, it’s one of a kind.

In the future the car will receive a single turbo kit from BloodMotorsports, a custom widebody, and the deepest concave wheels I can fit, currently eyeing up Rohana RC7’s but still working on the sizes & offsets I will be able to run.
The car was purchased in 2019 from the original owner with 70k miles for $2400. The owner was the mother of my best friend (who passed away in 2017). We used to cruise top down in high school in 2006/7, so every time I drive this car, I know my best friend is right besides me.
Great provenance, take good care of it! Although a purist I do like what you have already done and your future customizations sound bold and exciting. Post some additional photos after the mods.

Thank you ! I will definitely be keeping the information blogged & updated on this car.
Thank you ! I definitely will keep the build updated. The wide body is definitely down the road. I think I will complete the turbo kit first. Just enough to make some cool noises and give that wow factor when I pop the hood. I will be following Christopher Nieves style and sculpting my own kit instead of using fender flares. It will be a 1 of 1 style !
Some more recent pictures. Recently I lowered the front a bit more, removed the splitter rods, and just today i trimmed and popped the stock grill back in. It's nice to have coilovers and be able to raise and lower the car so quickly. The front is slammed about as far as it can go if i want to drive anywhere lol.
BEFORE moving forward on the turbo you should private message tighed1. He has the only turbo Crossfire I know of that is running. It was a tremendous struggle.
Certainly looks the business. Was assuming it was "slammed" on Coilovers, however considering the drop, is that air ride suspension?
Have you listed all the modifications anywhere, out of interest?
I did a similar thing to a 5 series BMW (E39). Love the stanced look too. Gets addictive. Unfortunately rust took hold and I ended up scrapping it - then I bought a car that appears to be equally prone to rusting out (the Crossfire)! Just didn't learn.
