Texas Motor Speedway - Running of the Xfires II - Sept. 26th
Come join us for the TMS Laps for Charities - Running of the Crossfires II on September 26, 2009!
* Tour of Texas Motor Speedway's Facility.
* Lunch at Babe's Chicken Dinner House.
* Drive laps on a NASCAR Texas Motor Speedway.
* Have your picture taken with you and your car in Victory Circle.
* Watch other groups run the track.
* After track party.
The official hotel for the event is the NEW Motel 6 next to TMS. Please contact member eeric for reservations. eeric is the GM for the hotel.
In case there are enough folks interested in driving the track but don't want to drive speeds up to 100mph (or more), we will divide into two groups:
"Need For Speed Group"
and
"Track Experience Group"
The cost is $30 which includes one warm-up lap then three full speed laps around the 1.5 mile track. There will also be a opportunity to do a second run for a additional $30. According to TMS, the fee is tax deductable. The cost of the TMS tour is $8/pp.

- Motel 6 will be our meeting spot before we do the tour or go to Babes.
- The address is: 13601 Raceway Drive Northlake, TX 76262
- TMS Tour time 1:00
- Babes Chicken 3:00
- TMS track time 6:00 (firm). We must be there by 5:30
Time: Saturday 8am-12noon

Put me down. We will be staying over again. Had such a great time on May 9th. Looking forward to driving down from Okahhoma City and seeing everyone.
