Can't unlock door
 

Lost the original key. 2005 convertible. Dropped $300 on 2 new keys. I'm 1,000 miles from the car adn the gal the picked up the new keys says they go in the lock but will not turn. Any help appreciated. Hell, call me if you have any suggestions. Thanks. 937-423-0789

did you check the vin on the new key bag versus the cars vin?
I'm thinking you didn't get the key from us or I would have heard of this already correct?
can she look in the key hole with a flashlight and pick tool to see if maybe there is debris in there that needs to be cleaned out?
confident it is the original door/handle/lock?
maybe the key was cut incorrectly, I've seen it happen once before, the customer had an original key to compare to and noticed the physical cut was incorrect. warrantied no problem.
were both new keys ever compared to each other as far as the blade cut? I'm guessing you ordered one and it didn't work so you got Chrysler to order in another? So did they keep the original new key there to compare with the 2nd key they ordered before handing it over to you?

This is why I cringe when I see locks and tumblers on Ebay.. without vins and documenting what you have done.. someone down the road is getting screwed without Vaseline ..

Doing that now. Correct, not from you. Got them from Hot Car Accessories in Spring Hill FL. I don't see any evidence that the doors aren't original. Good CarFAx when I bought . Thanks

I winter in FL and left the car there. Gave the only key I had to the front desk at the condo. She lost the key, first mistake. I should have had a second made before I came back north, second mistake.

Third mistake, didn't go to Needswings for the replacement key! ;)

thank you but it could have happened through us also, mistakes happen. I ordered 6 keys at one time, chrysler called me back 4 times to verify all the vin's as I must have scared someone over there, lol.
