Maryland Crossfire friendly car shows
Re: Maryland Crossfire friendly car shows
Sounds interesting. I'll try to get there.
btw, just joined the forum today, but have had my SRT6 for five years. Love it. A buddy has been trying to get me to take it MIR and race it with him (he has an Acura). Put a lot of miles on my car the first few years I had it, but don't drive it every day now, so it's not adding up quite so fast. Been dinged twice no for no plate on the front in the past year (most recently yesterday), so gonna have to rig up a mount - I refuse to drill my car.

not sure what you can do about the front plate issue, mine already had the bracket on the front for the plate, but im sure someone has done something like you are wanting.

BMO, can you provide your name, contact info, etc., and there is an awesome "hide-away flip up tag holder" on the market that is just right for our rides.
Re: Maryland Crossfire friendly car shows
It would be nice to have one more massive out pouring of Crossfires at an eveny before the weather changes for good. Let's decide on a definite show to do this at! The 29th sounds good. Let's ALL chime in with a yes or no by the end of the week. If the answer is no; try to have a suggestion ready for when a time or event will be better. I guess we can call this a sudu vote! Majority wins and if we do something as a group and everyone can't attend...........we will wish you were there but press on!
On another note; I met two more owners last weekend. One from Virginia and another who is ready to join our ranks. I gave them both CICCI cards and collected the personal info from the MD driver. He has already committed to joining us at our next GTG so lets get ready to welcome another driver to COM!

The dealership that I use for repairs is Ourisman Chrysler Jeep Dodge located at 5900 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA. 22303 (703) 329- 1663
The service rep to ask for is William.
I have always gotten good service and quality repairs without the BS. They have three certified Crossfire technicians.

since its a first annual we are going out to show support. That is also our anniversary weekend, so Erin wants one last trip for the year to the Bay/Ocean so ill be on the eastern shore and not able to drive to southern Maryland.
I like the idea about one last GTG but most places stop haveing GTGs after the first saturday in November. we can always do another lunch or something like that before the weather turns bad and the holidays keep us busy. we can always just invade a good BBQ place and spend a cold afternoon talking cars.
there are also these events.
SATURDAY 12/3-SUNDAY 12/4
22nd East Coast Indoor Nationals
Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Rd, Timonium MD.
Saturday 9AM-6PM, Sunday 9AM-4PM
Spectator admission $12.00
www.eastcoastindoornats.com
SUNDAY 12/11
Street Survivors of MD Christmas Breakfast & Car Show
American Legion Post 195, Baltimore Highlands.
Indoor Nats is an invite event, but we can all show up and hang out
Street Survivors Breakfast show has been light the past couple of years. the weather has been bad, but the food is good, and helps the AL post, so its a good cause. Just tossing more ideas out there.

The drive more than constitutes a FULL DAY TRIP (it's least than two hours south of me). Pack a lunch and it could become arduous if the weather and traffic doesnt cooperate because there are not too many options other than Route 301 and Route 2. Good trip as a group but not too much fun solo.
