Default '08 crossfire, new member

Hi all
My husband and I are buying the 08 crossfire at a great deal, I'm just cocerned we are making a good choice.
Is this car reliable?? I read that Chrysler is not going to make this car anymore becuase of low sales, what is the reason for the low sales??? I don't want to be stuck with a crap car. Any input would be appriciated.
Thank you,
Guyetts

The car is great and relaible. The low sales were due to Chrysler's lack of marketing interest in the car b/c of bickering with Mercedes over its development/design. Good luck with you purchase.

Basically what you are buying is a Mercedes-Benz SLK 320, that has sheet metal designed by Chrysler, and is entirely built by Karmann in Germany.

I think you will be more than happy with your purchase.

I have had my 05 roadster over a year - nothing has been an issue.
So if you can live with the very limited storage that these car offer - buy the car
they are a blast to have!

This is one of those cars that makes me smile every time I drive it! I think I read somewhere that the 07's were re-tagged 06's due to the low sales. The low sales issue is due to the limited market the car was designed for. How many Mercedes SLK's do we see out there? My 04 has 43k on it. Other than a headlight bulb blowing out there have been zero problems. The only problems I have are getting in and out (who wants to get out???) and rear visibility (who looks back???). Plus, you will get a ton of looks and comments about your beautiful car! Enjoy!
