Default Seldom Seen Cars

I drove a little over 200 miles today, and I saw:
Two Jag XKE-2+2's an hour apart.
One MGA Roadster.
One New Challenger (Orange) my first one.
One 1965 Chevelle (like new)
One 1964 Rambler "Classic" Wagon (mild custom)
One Bimmer Z4 Coupe
One mid 60's Corvair Coupe.
One Rolls Royce Vert.
One black 04 Crossfire.

My brother just got a '52 Henry J. What makes this "seldom seen" is that it is still all original. Even back in the day I never saw an original. Every one that I ever saw came with at least a Chevy/Ford small block if not some huge screaming big block. Who knew that the Henry J comes with a flathead, inline 6? He is going to leave it as is. I've tried talking him into the virtues of one or those nostalgia 427 crates but so far no dice.

my probably funniest seldom seen cars are. The bluesmobile with pa horn on top and all, at an astros game where they had a blues brothers look-a-like contest. Oh, the other would have to be a delorean (back to the future) though that ones not nearly as rare considering the guy who bought amc and the rights to the delorean relocated to about 5 miles from my house...he has a big warehouse with the largest sol location of deloreans in the world... i think he has 13 complete, pristine, running. plus gobs of parts. thats seldom seen

AMC was purchased by Chrysler in 1987.

sorry that wasn't supposed to say AMC. It was supposed to say DMC, as in, Delorean Motor Co.

I was at the local cruise meet last night and saw a 2006 Avanti coupe.
The owner said he had the one and only one made in 2006.
Is this true ?? Only one Avanti coupe made in 2006 ??

It sold for around $80,000 and he bought it new

He was there with another guy that had a 2002 Avanti Coupe.

Last year the Cuyahoga Valley tourist railroad had a steam excursion so we went to ride behind the Ohio Central's Canadian Pacific (4-6-2).

As we were riding along we watched the group of cars chasing the train and spotted a DeLorean several times as it followed the train.

About once a year I spot a 60 or so light blue Studebaker Lark station wagon that lives around here. It was in front of the local liquor store the other day.

At one of our local restaraunts we used to see a red AMX on a regular basis.

There are also two Fiberfab Avengers that I see occasionally, one red on a VW chassis and one metalflake gold on a tube frame with a Ford small block. The woman riding in the gold one insists that it is a Ford GT that raced at Lemans. I also saw a Fiberfab Banshee a couple of times 3 or 4 years ago but it has dissapeared.

Few days ago, my wife and I were driving home and we saw someone driving a 427 Cobra. Pretty much has always been my wife's favorite car and I saw it coming up in the rear view mirror and told her to get her camera ready to take a picture of what was coming up, she seemed confused but did and as soon as it got next to us, she realized why I said that.

I heard that a resident of our town had bought an Aston Martin DB9. Now you might expect to see this beauty parked in front of the Arts Center or maybe in the doctors lot at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic or the reserved parking section at the Peace Center for The Moody Blues concert. I got my first glimps of her in the drive-thru line at the Taco Bell. I laughed all the way home.
