Default You don't know what I got...

What can I say. I'm rapped up like a deuce.
This is my latest purchase, the ever iconic 1932 Ford, five window coupe. I found it while delivering a load in St Louis a couple of weeks ago. I got a new body and frame, and a dropped tube axle plus rear end for $4000.00. I finally was able to bring her home this last Thursday. Due to problems uploading pictures, it took till this morning to post about it.

More news. My little 64 Falcon that I've been without for five years due to an accident, and the resultant issue with getting anyone to get around to painting it. It should be done very soon. I built quite a little fire under my body man, so it should be returning to the stable soon.

well, that'll be cool, and should keep you out of mischief for awhile. Look cool when it's done, what color you planning on?

Very Cool! a 32 or 33 was on my short list to replace my Crossfire.
Be sure and post your progress reports, love to see it as it comes together.

That shot reminds me of my Dad's Model A when he first brought it home. Now it looks like this.

Picking a color will be hard. There are so many that would look beautiful on this car. Fact is,you would be hard pressed to find a bad color for it. I want a color that fits all era's with a simple change of wheels. I was thinking about a cinnamon/root beer color, with lots of flake and pearl. Of course I will change my mind a hundred times in the next year. My main goal is a simple and reliable car that can be driven daily. And clean enough to eat off any part of it.

I really, really wanted a 33/34 three window hiboy. But the cost is easily a third higher to build. But getting the 2nd on my list of favorite cars is more than I could ever dream of having in my garage. So I'm happy.

I have a 351 Windsor with overdrive sitting in my garage. My plan is to stroke it and throw some 351 Cleveland heads on it. Boss 427 anyone?

I had a complete 30 sedan. But it just wasn't me. If it had been a coupe I woulda kept it, chopped it, threw it on 32 rails with no fenders. Your dads car kicks ***.
