Hyabusa motor!

Front looks like a prowler. Great MPG, less than $7k. Great alternative to a motorcycle.
Depending on what bells and whistles this thing gets, I would be VERY interested in one. |

Interesting to see if it does end up with a 5 star crash rating. Most of the video shot at a mall right by my house.

Fugly, but kinda cool. Great for train commuters. Plus, you save 25% on tire replacements....:p

I think they're being very optimistic when it come to price. I wish them luck.

Yeah, yeah...I saw an Isetta go for ~ $30K at auction a few years ago.
Well, some folks have too much $$$. |

It's a good thing the Company builds "Transformers" as their main business. The last time I spent $7k for a brand new car, was in 1984 when I bought a red Honda CRX. I loved that car. (My Wife even cried a little when we traded it in on a Accord). It's unbelievable what those old BMW's are bringing at BJ's auction. All those "Micro Mini's" from the 50's are going for crazy $$$. Being as old as I am, I remember seeing them all the time in the summer months when I was a kid. |

Different geometry. It WILL still roll, though.
In reverse. |

I think it was back in the 60's I read that the Federal Government spent 100's of thousands of dollars on "research" trying to determine the reason why children fell off their tricycles.
I don't remember exactly how long they spent on the study, but their final conclusion was, "It's an inherently unstable design". I don't think they ever figured out to simply just go backwards. It must have been before the "Big Wheel" was invented.;) |
