My guess is they are showing their move to the 7 speed S-tronic twin clutch which gives lightning fast shifts on a slightly more powerful V10, which coincidentally are both based off the Lamborghini Gallardo which is now also owned by VW. All previous models were equipped with the 6 speed R-tronic and a slightly less powerful V10 (525 vs 542 bhp).

Certainly not this model, but you had an R8 as a rental? I have seen them advertised before but they were $500-1000+ per day. Wow that's salty.

Initially started out from National in a Pontiac, the left rear wheel fell off before I got out of the lot.
They then gave me a Chevy, it quit about 2 miles from the airport.
The manager then said " Hey - take anything you want on the lot, same charge "
