I'm pretty much in love with this car. I'm strongly thinking of getting one when it comes out. I was looking at getting a convertible, but now I'm not so sure and might just wait for this. Most of the reviews are saying it is the best car that MB is currently making, and it's almost certain to perform better than an M3 in every way.

and yes yes yes about the c63 it is a very charming car I have been to Europe and seen many of the new c class, but the amg will give it the proper performance to perfect the sedan... I would pick one up, but what would I do with it?
i just can't get used to the new look of the C class ... it looks like a benz and bmw crashed into each other and that's what was left over from both cars so they just put it back together.
i am sure it will grow on me sooner or later but for now i would say no go for the look but a huge yes for the stuff that matters... performance.

I actually really like the new Benz. They almost look like what the BMWs should have evolved into when Chris Bangle messed them up. I actually like the car better than the new M3. Not as much as the outgoing M3, but better than the new one. I'm sure the C63AMG is waaayyy out of my price range, but I say go for it if you have the means. I'll get one too once I hit the lotto!

All these new small hot rod V8's stuffed into small cars... RS4, M3, C63...I feel like a lot of manufacturers have lost the plot...I like LIGHT, nibble, simple cars. Not only are these new cars getting heavier, they're getting too complicated. I don't need a driver interface system or a flappy paddle tranny... give me a 6 speed manual and a free revving motor in a package thats lighter than 3,000 lbs. Period.

AMG has a new "Black" series that is even more everything than the regular AMG.

I like the outgoing M3 tons better than the new one. BMW said that in order to keep progressing with performance, they had no choice but to use a V8 because they had reached the end of what they could do with a straight 6.
