oh wait!!! GM touch this car correct!!! it was sweet in Prototype phase... but hand on... theres GM's dirty little hand!!! the same one that killed the Hummer... the same one that has drove Cadi's off the map.. the same basterd hand that created the Avalanche and the Aztec!!... The HORRIFIC HAND that touched the SSR making the WORST pickup that has graced this great planet.... the same hand that makes Corvette's the most everyday seen car on the map other then a mustang... OOOOPSSSS!!! the hand touched it... ... know what that means right? ITS GONNA SUCK!!! and it pisses me off cuz I loved this car... they will turn it into a Cavalier somehow or a sunfire.. I hate my life...

GM does suck. I hate there interior. Especially when you can spend $50k plus on a vette and it has similar features found in every one of there cars the last 10 years +

If it does turn out to be a good car GM will then kill it. The Impala SS was a really nice car for a big car and they killed it. They killed Buick Grand National Regal (I had an '89 and it was truly an awesome car). They've killed the Camaro and every other car that had real potential. I think that they have something against success. Except the Vette. I really do think the new C-5 and soon the C-6 are really great cars. I think the only GM people that have a clue at all are in Ky and the Corvette plant.

I really like the Solstice
http://www.fast-autos.net/pontiac/pontiacsolstice.html

I'm thinking of going with it as my next car when it's released in 2006. But I'll wait and see, it could be horrid in person. Supposed to be a really tight handling car, though. 170hp and a good amount of torque throughout the powerband. Should hit the quarter in about 15.4 seconds. Great gas mileage, too. And it's unique.

How are you going to pay for it? McDonalds doesn't pay that well. Stick with the used Hondas they're much more your speed!!!

I'm a Stock Portfolio Manager for a lawyer friend of mine downtown.

The Solstice is cheaper than my Acura... how did I pay for my new Acura?

The base model Solstice does not have a power soft-top and I haven't heard if that's an option or not. I certainly hope that it will be, otherwise that might break the intrigue.

I'm glad you're not handling my portfolio... I would be driving a used Honda.

When I started really looking for a new car this last time around, what got me going was a picure I stumbled on of the Solstice. After comparing it with the Crossfire, though (and that little detail of wanting a car *now*), the Crossfire won by a landslide.

I'm curious to see what this thing's like when it's finally available, though.
