Playboy Magazine's "Playmate of the Year" Car

In this edition of "Jay's Garage" The 1968 Playmate of the Year's AMX was featured.
Most "old timers" here on the forum are keenly aware of my affinity for the AMX, and it's uncanny statistical and performance similarities with the Crossfire.
Some minor information given by the guys who did the restoration was incorrect, so I really can't fault Jay's lack of knowledge of AMC products in general (considering how spot on he usually is when ever he talks about nearly every other car built).

My ex wife wife drove a loaded up 68 1/2. Mine was a 70 (with the hood and pipes you have on yours) I bought new and drove nearly a decade. Absolutely seem related to the Crossfire.

I talked my Mom into buying a new Hornet Sportabout in 1970. My first car was a 1972 Gremlin X with a V8 engine. My dream car was a 1968 AMX. I love all AMC!
