The SLC -- aka the SLK in every year prior to this one -- is dead.

Not sure what kind of impact it will have on used SLK AMG prices, if any. Sadly we're seeing similar patterns at Nissan; 370Z is on its 10th year using the same design, and we're not even thinking about touching it until 2020. Rumor has it, we're going to simply kill it off. :(

I'm shocked there hasn't been more discussion about this issue at hand... which is... the lineage of cars which ultimately produced ours, has suffered the same fate as ours. I just recall many of the high-brow Mercedes owners drawing comparisons to the SLK being superior because it didn't die like the Crossfire... except it now has.
