Brakes: pads are akebono with drilled and slotted rotors and stainless steel lines that have less than 10k on them.

 

Let me know about the brake components, I am interested in the front calipers/pads/lines/rotors for a conversion on my Limited XF

Please let me know about the radio. Are the connections a direct fit in a Crossfire Limited?

 

to be honest with you i dont know since i dont own a Xfire. i can take pictures of the back of the radio for you if you like!

 

Yes, a picture of the back of the radio would be helpful. I will buy the radio removal tool tomorrow and pull out my radio. If your radio is a plug and play, I would be interested in purchasing it. Thanks.

im not sure and pics will help but i dont think the radios are the same. the m/b radio is a harmon kardon unit and i believe the xfire is an infinity unit.

 

The non-nav XFire radio says "Infinity" but is really a re-branded Becker - take it out and the labels on the side (and the Becker optical CD changer port on the back) make things pretty obvious. I think the M/B radio is also a Becker. Since the wiring harness is nearly, with the exception of a few pins, identical between many German radios - hence why Blaupunkt radios are also plug-n-play - I suspect things will work.

They're definitely not the same stereo though, as the M/B unit has more features like hands-free phone / SOS. You might have to swap some wires (just like how one wire needs to be cut for some Blaupunkts to come out of phone mode).
