Default WTB: Tuner Cable

I would like to purchase a tuner cable that will work for the remote tuning from Eurocharged.

I assume someone purchased it and uploaded the tune and now has one laying around in the garage.

Please let me know if you have one available.

buy the tune get a free cable!! just for reference when jerry and the e/c started tuning they were costing upwards of 600$ plus tuners time. now they cost 265$ total. thats a stealers deal no matter how you look at it
theres a bunch for sale online. cost is 85$ plus shipping. why not just toss the business to e/c ?

I already have the car tuned. Did a dyno tune and handed cash to the Eurocharged crew 2 months ago. Unfortunately the tunes was wiped out when i took the car in for maintenance work last week. I dont need to purchase a tune, i just need my old tune put back on the car.

Cant afford to have the car down for a few days and send in the ECU so I intend to just have my old tune re-flashed remotely. Tried to buy the cable at the website 2 days ago but am having trouble placing the order. Email has already been sent to their customer service and I am awaiting a reply.

So, anyone have the cable laying around?????

I will be getting a tune tomorrow...I could loan you the cable, and just ship it back when they replace your tune....if that will work....

Hrm, what would Eurocharged charge for a tune if you already had the cable?

I imagine they make quite a bit from 'selling' their special cable as well as their tune.. I wonder how happy they'd be if members just shared the cable + what would the tune price be?

Which area are you in, we may already have a local rep in your area that could reflash your car ?

just to clarify it isn't their "special " cable. google the cable. online it runs 85$ plus shipping so why not buy it and help keep one of the few vendors in business? never ceases to amaze me how people want to put 1 over on the few honest vendors we have yet will drop hundreds for cheap replica wheels. tell ya what you can use my cable for 85$ and ill donate it to e/c

wasn't referring to him doc. my rant was for the other poster that wants a communal cable and thinks theres a massive markup on the cable. i emailed the op and asked him to email jerry. he hooked me up when i needed a retune and after that i went ahead and bought a cable.

i'm not trying to pull anything over anyone.

i put the special in quotes just because of that, I know nothing about that cable is special. I also didn't do any research and just assumed that the cable was grossly marked up as with my experience with any other cable - such as HDMI, USB, anything you can buy at the store vs what you can get it for online. i'm talking about 60-100$ HDMI cables you can buy online for a few dollars.

if I could source out the cable for cheap and get a cheaper tune, well, why wouldn't I? if you have enough money where you don't need to worry about what you do with it then by all means, have fun. don't get mad at me because i'm trying to save money. enjoy your tune

thats one of the bigger issues. you didn't do any research. you just ASSUMED that e/c was grossly marking it up without checking the facts.

because if you don't continue to support the few vendors we have them you wont have any vendors at all.

i have enough money that im not going to quibble over a few dollars. that comes from hard work and saving. if i couldn't afford to buy the toys then i don't buy them.
btw i love the tune! and i will tell you that by supporting jerry and e/c and also rob at needswings i have gotten enough discounts and deals to pay for that cable time and again
