Default WTB: Used EC heat exchanger

Or a stock E55 exchanger? Anyone that has one but decided to put the supercooler on; or selling their car and putting it back to stock? I would be interested in purchasing your H/E.

Edit / Update: Just got a great deal ($90. shipped)on a low mile E55 H/E on MBworld forum.

I have the K.&N. Extreme Filters and don't think they would fit in front of the Super Cooler. Heat soak isn't a big problem for me here, but I want an upgrade from stock.

Sorry I missed the EC part. Thought you were looking for stock.

WOW! That is really something; it's like 2 for the price of 1. It does look like a Woody (function over form). No offense at all meant Woody. How much better did this work for you over the stock H/E ?

I was out on the bluffs flying a very colorful kite one day, when a very beautiful women stopped and admired my kite and commented how it would fly with such little wind. I blurted out "I can keep it up all day!" She must have seen my face turn red, because she just smiled and walked away.

I appreciate the offer Jim, but I'm wanting a better than stock H/E that fits in the approx. stock location. The EC exchanger fits the bill for me but I was hoping to find one for a lot less money. Bob

I went with the E55 stocker. It has about the same flow as the EC exchanger, give or take a smidge. It is thin just a little wider and taller, but fits where ours does. cheers

Update: Just purchased a low mile oem E55 H/E I found on MBworld Forum ($90. shipped). They just had a group buy on the EC H/E so there are several oem's that I'm sure could be had If any one wants to go this way. I wish I could have afforded the new Eurocharged version, but this will do. When I eventually add the water/meth, that will be all the cooling I need for my purposes. In removing my stock exchanger; dang, what a bug fest going on down there.
