well we both were undercut by someone who offered 4 cats for shipping costs. seems he wants to fix the busted cat

LOL. That is too funny. I can't back it up but I have been told to expect ~$200 per cat if you take them to the right recycle shop. Personally if I was going to replace the cats I would not go with something stock.

i agree. headers , n/w downpipes, 200 cell race cats at the rear, and true dual mufflers ala slk55 is the route im going

they sell for like $20-$90 at the recycle yards
