Does this piece snap on and off or does it use 3M tape or another method to hold it on?

That sucks! I wonder if he realized after posting, ppl were willing to pay much more for them? I'd almost wager $ on that... If true he sold it to someone else through a PM, then his character is down the tubes (providing your offer was before any contacts). His non-communication speaks volumes if still active.
