Likewise. Also spent $300 at RA for A/C compressor, all hoses, O rings, evaporator, dryer, expansion valve and R134 for the 2002 Concorde. Summer's coming and it has had a leak for 5 years that I can't pin down.
Plus, the compressor went kapooey a couple of weeks ago, unplugged it.
If it turns out to be the condensor, then fugetaboutit, ain't gonna tear the complete dash out.
( hoping it was the compressor that was leaking all along :) )

I edited the post, had condenser and evaporator confused.

condenser - coils inside the car.
evaporator = coils in front of radiator.

Unless you use the a/c system for heat I think your condenser should be in front of the radiator.

Right again. That's what I get for trusting the web.

condenser = in front of radiator
evaporator = inside the cabin

I DID get a new condenser, but not an evaporator.

;) The condenser coil is the one in front of the radiator, evaporator coil is in the ductwork holding the refrigerant GAS. OK, this is what I get for answering your post BEFORE reading the rest of the posts... Duh... ;)

While I think I agree with you George, I had researched Google and found conflicting answers.

I just researched again, found an answer from Lennox which I trust that agrees with you.

condenser = in front of radiator
evaporator = inside car

I also looked at the one I got, it IS a condenser assembly.

It does not look like it is time for a new discount code at this time, as your current discount code expires in May. Thanks!
