Netting or other organizer for trunk of convertible
I keep some small parts (battery jumper cables, etc.,) in the trunk of our 2005 convertible. Has anyone found a good organization system to keep things from flying around? One that works with plastic grocery bags would be excellent.

Harbor Tool has some very nice canvas tool bags or ammo boxes.
Both are great and cheap |

Re: Netting or other organizer for trunk of convertible
In my hatchback I have my 2 subwoofer boxes and 4 ammo crates fit perfect between for my tools, 1 metal and 3 plastic, and a area cor the fix a flat and compressor, can use 4 metal ammo cans, wider than the plastic.
Everything fits good and no shaking. |

Does that include with the top down? That seems to be the issue. I want something that can hold a few plastic grocery bags or a small travel bag or two... Thanks’

When I go to the grocery store with top down I can get 3 paper bags in the trunk. They are a perfect fit in all dimensions. You could measure a paper grocery bag and look for plastic totes that are similar.

Re: Netting or other organizer for trunk of convertible
i have a large set of cables and a digital starter device that fit flat on the trunk floor under the rear partition when it is in place to allow for the top to be raised or lowered. in addition,i have a pico folding chair (for cruise ins etc) that lies very flat half under and half exposed. in addition a have one of the harour frieght bags with tools, etc that fits in the trunk off to the side with the partition in place so the top can be operated. there is still room for a couple of plastic grocery bags if necessary. nothing flies around as long as you can get the stuff to lay flat on the trunk floor either under or partially under the partition. you just kind of need to play around with it a bit like a jigsaw puzzle to work it all out.

I appreciate all of the information. Beside the Harbor place, are there any that make or sale solutions specifically for cars with smaller trunks (I know, ours are like a TARDIS, bigger on the inside). 😉😄
