I am in need os a upper radiator support, look at the pic to see where you can cut ,,if you have one, the two bracket underneath can be cut about 1 to 2" below the support, thanks jim

 

Going to salvage yard Friday there are 2 there l will check condition for ya.

 

I got mine new from mercedes 212.50 ,, don't forget it is welded to the bottom at the frame, I wanted mine to cut and make a wide opening for the engine to go in or out. I'm not home so no pic with me but go to the link below you will see the 4 bolts on mine if that is what you want it for. jim

Salvage yard want to give me whole front clip do you have part number from when you got yours

 

no ,,but go on ebay look up 2002 slk 320 for sale ,,use that S/N go to mercedes dealer and ask to see the rad brace/support and then ask for price. oh! i did pay wholesale jim

 

Much appreciated I get all euro parts at cost. I knew the suspension and engine parts where the same didn't know rad support was. Hey learn something new everyday thank you for the info.
