Feeler for Mandrus Wilhelm 18/19 setup
Afternoon, ladies and gents!
I'm looking to go with a bit of a different setup on my SRT-6... I loved the Wilhelms and I think they're a classic look, but I am at a point now where I don't hate the stock SRT rims and I have the opportunity to try a bit of a different look in this transition time, might as well only do it once!
So, I'm offering the Mandrus wheels up for sale.
Lots of info/pics in this thread:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...s-wilhelm.html
Brand new they're $980, plus tires = ~$1,800
The front tires would make a good border for a flower bed, they're useless. The rears, however, have quite a bit of life left. They are the BF-Goodrich KDW NT. Great grip, a touch on the noisy side but they're a solid tire with great shoulders to lean on. Very confident cornering feel. I can get exact measurements on remaining tread depth this weekend.
The wheels are in great shape overall. Both passenger wheels have a very minor rash on portions of the lip... this is from a negligent tow-truck operator, who politely rubbed the wheels against the side steel edge of the flat bed during transport. No curb gouges on these wheels whatsoever. The rash could be polished out for ~$100 for both. I can repair the rash for you, but I will have to pass that expense onward and I don't really see much point in that.
These bolt-on with no need for spacers whatsoever and will clear all components. Hub-centric, 66.6mm center-bore made for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. No bends, cracks, etc.
I'd really prefer local pickup, as shipping would be murder. And tedious.
Asking $750 for the full set, as-is, with existing tires. Replace the fronts and you're ready to roll for $700 less (plus shipping/taxes) than buying new. Willing to discount your fuel if you travel to pick them up.

These are great wheels, (some of my pics are in same linked thread) and would recommend them to anyone looking for a set. It's a very clean OEM like look and the fit is about as perfect as you can get. Weight is about the same as stock so no amazing performance increase but will clear larger brakes that the NA OEM wont and are an easier clean than the SRT or NAs. Have had several comments on the wheels alone and when clean they will turn some heads.
You sticking with the SRT ones JHM?

Like you said, they're really eye-catching when clean, and they're quite easy to clean as well.
I will stick with my SRT wheels for a little bit, but I do have other plans. The good news is that I like the OEM wheels so much, I'm in no hurry so I have time to wait on a good deal.

Also considering offering up my SRT wheels and tires... no bends, no cracks, some minor road wear. Will post pics of those as well.

Re: Feeler for Mandrus Wilhelm 18/19 setup
Bumping this sale thread, I also have SRT wheels for sale at a similar price.
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-full-set.html
I will drop the Wilhelms to $700 including tires, needing to move at least one/both of these sets as I have other plans in the wheel department, but I'm not in the business of being a wheel collector
Currently running the Wilhelms on my SRT, they still ride great. Whichever set sells first, I'll keep the others until I can get the different wheels ordered.
Cheers,

I know lol I just didn't see anyone comment about them. Do you think black or the polished stainless rims would look better on a aero blue I think the stainless polish
Re: Feeler for Mandrus Wilhelm 18/19 setup
They can be seen in Kellyville, OK. Call ahead first though...
Oh.. and I keep fighting the desire to go back to stock on my Alabaster.. I know they would look good on my Aero Blue roadster.. LOL

We were right around 1100 for them .. Lorenzo WL27 series. Original stock wheels were what we replaced..
