A place for parts
A place for parts
I mentioned that I saw a fog light for $100, and had some PMs wondering where, it's a parts search page for junk yards, if you're looking for parts you can't find here try it.

Re: A place for parts
I've been telling people for about 4 years now about car-part.com, seems to be something that has to be told over and over.

Re: A place for parts
Yep, I have been using it for many years, not just for parts, but sometimes I put in a car and search on something like rear window which is almost always still there, just to find a close yard that has one of the cars in it, just to peruse what is left.
Also, it is a good rough guide for interchangability, like if you pick the 3.7 v6 engine in my 2002 Jeep liberty, it will also hit on the 3.7 in the Dodge Pickup for some years. It will only hit on a direct fit, not something that is 99% similar, like the engine, that you may need to swap an internal part for compatibility.
P.S. napa.com is also a good site to find what other car a certain part will work on.
