Pulley Feeler
Pulley Feeler
Trying to decide on taking the dive with a 62mm pulley,if I do I will sell my code 3 pulley with a 100k miles on it ,I also have a stock pulley that will be for sale also, whichever pulley sells first will have a new bearing included PM me some offers I have a week to make my mind up so first real offers may get some good pulleys.
Re: Pulley Feeler
code 3 pulleys are 64mm I may be slightly off but best bang for the buck I had this pulley for 5 years trouble 5 not counting the year the prior owner had the vechicle
Re: Pulley Feeler
highly advise that you ensure you are happy with the smaller pulley before selling off your c3 pulley. also highly advise a wideband AFR gauge on your car!
Re: Pulley Feeler
nope, not with the amount of boost the 62mm produces
Re: Pulley Feeler
So the AFR would do what? Tell you to take your foot off the gas? What needs to be done prior or in conjunction with putting on the 62mm pulley? Since I have one I want to put on! Got your CAI and a MAXBORE TB will go on with the pulley.
Re: Pulley Feeler
the AFR would most likely be dangerously lean and could potentially cause catastrophic engine damage.
in my opinion, in order to run that pulley you would need... fuel pump, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, filter, AFR gauge and a tune to dial it all in, probably a reworked MAP sensor also.
that is just one of the reasons that we do not run/recommend that size pulley
