You unable to pass NHRA or IHRA regs or both? Sure would like to see some Crossfires in action. Been trying to get Crossfire SRT and Prowler owners out to the event but not alot seem interested in racing their rides.

I can roll a stock Prowler and a high 11 second Xfire at your event for sure!

But ya gonna have ta roll the inspection...cause no way I am putting roll bars in either car!

?????

Yes been kicked out two places and down to two...one is the LET track day place and the other they are on to me ....so hard ta get people ta line up! At least ta pay for the day....now down ta only the A.M. runs
Of course the look on da punks is cool!

But would love ta come to this event!!....Would they let me run??
I bet they say yes up front then when I pull in no for the rules...I get it but it still sucks...hell if I wanna ro9ll tha dice let me sign my life away and let me roll!!

K.K.

Well, if you have never run at QCR before then they would probably let you run the first time and then after that you would likely be done for the day. As much as we would love to see a Crossfire run 11-sec, its probably not worth it for you to spend the gas and pay for the hotel to make one pass and go home.

We have no control over the track rules and inspections, and the track will be the ones to enforce the rules since its their rear-end on the line with the insurance company. True, its your life if you run without a rollbar/cage but if something was to happen to the driver in the other lane because your car was not up to regulation then the track becomes liable for both of you.

We have LX-platform Chargers/Magnums/300's running in the 11's already and as hard as they wanted to fight it they have gone to the next level with rollbar/cage. Its no fun having the fastest ride on the street if you can't line it up on the dragstrip and run. You have 6 months to get ready.

Hope we see you in July!

I have the same problem as RIOT. I am installing new roll bars, but no cage. I am trying to pass an inspection for a road course I want to run on...but hey, I might do the trip for the show part, and make a 1 pass. What do you think RIOT?.... pickin' on us 'verts...

Did I read this correctly? Only SRT6 Crossfires are welcome?
I live 30 minutes away from Quaker City, but if I can't run my NA car there, I probably wouldn't waste my time to go.

So... WHEN is this?

I see lots of info above, except a date.

For those looking at coming, I run at Quaker City all the time. They're not too strict on the IHRA rules, but obvious stuff will get you booted. Sorry roadster owners, but that's pretty obvious. Feel free to PM me if you have questions about the track. It's no Norwalk, but its fun and the people are friendly.

It's a stock "NA" 6 spd. Like everybody else's Crossfire. Faster than a "stock" Prowler.

JULY 18-19 (date is on the banner )

Were you racing there the last weekend before the track closed down for the season? My partner Chuck and I met a Crossfire owner that night. You were sitting in the staging lanes and reading a book.

I'll let him know and get back to you. Don't forget that not only would you be running gainst V6 Prowlers, but also V6 Chargers, Magnums, Challengers and 300's.

Yes, that was me! It was cold, so I was warm waiting inside my car. I had some crappy runs that night too. I just can't seem to get good traction at Quaker City. But I think part of that is that they don't spend a lot of money prepping the track for Friday night racing. It's the Saturday afternooners that get the better conditions.

Sorry about the date question. When I first saw the post, the banners were blocked because I was on my work computer.

I'll see you guys in July!

Bring it out! It would be nice to see some more Crossfires in attendance.

Nice to meet you again!!! Yeah it was seriously cold that night. I had never been to QCR before and my partner Chuck was showing me around and we met with the owner.

Definitely want to make sure the track is well prepped for the event weekend. We have some high-horsepower Mopars coming and want to make sure that everyone stays on the pavement.

Glad you mentioned about the banner not being visible from some work computers, I should add the date elsewhere just in case others have the same problem. I know some folks don't have computers at home.

Look forward to seeing you run in July!!!

Offshore Boats Poker Run....My neighbor won it last year.

I will tell you who is running it soon as I know.
I believe it started out of Osage Beach as that is where they stayed last year and where My wife and I stay.

Please do. The date is July 18, 19th, right? That is a fun area and for driving the XF's too. Been thru there twice. Thanks.
