It's time to Eurocharge my car!

I'm currently at the track with perfect conditions and I haven't been able to beat 12.44 @ 112mph, since I got my best of 12.2 at 114mph last year, I've added Needswings manifolds and deleted the secondary cats. This InMotion tune just doesn't seem to be working for me!

Hopefully Jake can do me a good deal and I can get those nice eurocharged stickers on my car aswell :)

John.

Les, your call will be a monster once you get it tuned!! It's already a rocket.

Just be sure to tell them ALL the mods you have...

I'm getting mine done this Monday and I'll have to admit, a little nervous too. Just remember to have a fully charged battery in the laptop and your cell phone, or ability to plug them in. I understand it can take between 1/2hr. to a full hr.

What happens if for example the internet loses sync while he's tuning the car? does he just reconnect or is it game over lol.. had a friend tell me when he reflashed his ecu he was shitting himself incase something screwed up and the car became unsuable? perhaps I misunderstood something..

That's a question you'll have to ask Jerry at Eurocharged. My guess is they would just start over. What I did was park in front of my house closer to the side that we have our router, so I'd get a good signal. I also connected the laptop to a good extension cord so I wasn't relying on the battery, and I even put a long ext. on the land line phone so I wouldn't have to worry about cordless phone battery dieing on me in the middle of it all. He was real happy I had a 64 bit laptop and good speed from the wifi, as it only took about 10-15 min.'s tops, from the time he called to completion. Couldn't be happier.

I think all of you will be very pleased with what Jerry will do on the tune. I would make sure you write down your list of mods already done, so you don't miss telling Jerry what he is working with on your car. The only other thing is to make sure to have good internet hookup and power available if needed. Jerry's tunes are up to date with what has been learned during the last few years on tuning these special cars, it makes them come alive!

And don't forget to ask Jerry for the fan mod, for no additional charge. I currently have mine set to number 3 and the fan comes on just a little earlier than normal which is just perfect for my setup. :D

I asked EC about adding the "MB 10 degree mod" and Clint told me it is already a part of the tune.

But I DID ask!:)

It was fascinating to watch and hear the car when he was in control of it. Dash lights going on and off, cabin fan and engine fan cycling, etc. I put my emergency brake on just in case he tried to start it up and drive away. ;)

I agree! I've never heard the rad cooling fan run that fast! Sounded like I should start to worry.
Fast, easy and clean way to do it! 2 cars, 30 minutes.

And I got my free stickers today, Always love the free stuff...;)

They seem to be out of town for the week. All I've heard is the answering machine. (I didn't leave a message) I got an out of office reply for my emails too. But I got off the fence and Paypalled the funds so ......... I'm going to be Eurocharged too! Now I just have to find a PC to borrow and learn how to use it. I checked out the Burger King hot spot .... it seems a bit slow but the signal is good in the parking lot (in the shade :D ) All that's left to do is worry about the unknown.

les this weekend is the texas mile. everyone is setting new records and having more fun than the law should allow!! dont worry about the unknown. i had wireless failure bad computer hookups dead battery issues and anything else that could go wrong. after i was told if the key is removed it locks up the ecu we did it anyway and rebooted the system charged the battery for a day and the file took! car was fine and ran like a beast.

Jerry's M5 owns the BMW M5 record now at 168.7mph (Jake was driving). They are definitely putting it down out there.
