Then there are only five factors left:
Tires?
Clock?
Weather?
Altitude?
sorry to say but ... Driver?

Next time you'll nail it!

I can't launch over idle without smoking the tires. You must have some nice Hoosiers on the back.

What was the temperature? What kind of 60' did you run and what tire, rim size.
I went out with my stock srt with 285/35/18's super sports and cut a bad 2.0 60' and ran a 8.5 in the 1/8th but it was at least 90degrees and very humid.
The other srt ran with a code 3,tune and 275/35/17's a 8.2 1/8th and a 12.5 1/4 mile. the best itsrun is 12.2 on ps2's.
Weather has a lot to do with the times so I would wait till it cools off and beat you best times then

on the back im running the srt6 rim with 285 35 19 goodyear and it was at least between 88 and 90 degrees but also ive heard with the 185 pulley u start running into some heat soak issues so i was thinkin about upgrading to the supercooler and gettin a custom resivor tank to put ice in

My best cool weather 1/8 is 7.901. That was at 45° with a DA of 250. I ran a 8.192 with a temp of 81° and a DA of 2489. So, as you can see.... Temp and density altitude can make a big difference in your times. Even with cooler weather, DA can kill your times. On both of these, the 60' was only .040 apart.

You need to get some light weight 16" wheels with DR's. I run these with 18lbs. pressure.

Haha... I started to mention that, but was too lazy to look up the post. This is the best set up for the Crossfire that anyone has come up with yet.

So, so true...Heat is a killer! I went to the track this past Friday and was only able to kook up once without spinning to run a 7.78. When the temps are just right, I'm running 7.5's.

My guess is no traction on launch for one, but the biggest issue would be high AIT's are causing the timing retard, which is killing power.

I've got a Eurocharged 181 pulley that will just bolt up to your hub. Swapping should be a 30 minute job. PM me if you're interested. Heck, I might just trade even. Just food for thought.

Breakdown of the slip???? yea heat hurts especially if you are modded... with just an intake i didnt have heat soak issues. That 185 pulley might be too much without additional cooling/fuel mods . The car should be well into the 7's with your mods with traction.

funny you say that. i couldnt get good 60 foots launching at idle. The best way for me was launch high 1800+ and then ease into the throttle. still crappy 2.0 sixties but otherwise it was 2.1 and up.

My roadster ran 8.42 stock after my tune and intake it runs 8.22@86mph with no pulley.I just got some more intake and exhaust work done trying to hit 8.1s without a pulley,I run on 275/40/19 street tires and get good 1.8 60 ft times.

those are directional, and they are rotating the wrong direction.
