Default Roadsters ok on Road Courses/Tracks?

Guys, I have GOT to make up my mind about the SRT I'm gonna buy.

I REALLY want another Roadster - but here is the question: Am I going to miss out on a lot of events (due to safety concerns) with the soft top?

How much of a compromise will a fabric top be? How limited will I be in the courses I can have access to?

Depends on the class you race in.

With your car being more of a fun weekend toy than a hardcore racer, you'll be fine sticking to the Novice/Intermediate classes with the local HPDE at AMS...

In the Novice and Intermediate classes, only factory roll protection is required. Once you hit advanced, they request cages and the like.

As long as you pass the broomstick test, you're golden.

The drag strips won't like you if/when you get into the 11's

I'm' not thinking I'm headed for a drag strip - just want to run on the "road courses".

What's the broomstick test, John?

This will be what? Crossfire #3?
Are you sure you wouldn't rather have wife #3?
