You are welcome to come. Maybe one of your parents would like to come too.
The more Crossfires the better.
This is funny. Lesson learned? I guess we're never our own boss, regardless of age. I had to convince my wife, and our daughters, and I'm 53.

I'll be there Saturday A.M. Put me on the list and keep me advised on when and where we all can meet.

As far as meeting places, where to go, etc. – I’m not sure. I’m new to MI and have never been to Detroit in my life. Hopefully some of our local members/participants will be able to spearhead that part (Please . . . ).

Still need a RED and a YELLOW to join us.

*Expressed interest a while back: Goldwing.

Not sure if I replied correctly to the post. But I plan on driving over unless 1) we are on vacation in NY or 2) it is raining. Probably just come over for the day from Holland, but may hit up work colleague and stay in Royal Oak or Canton. We'll be coming from the I96/I696 western approach.

Alright well here we go for places to meet and go.

1. DCX HQ the hotel that everyone is staying at is right across from DCX HQ so we could pay a visit, maybe they will let us on the test track out back!!! (very unlikely).
http://www.daimlerchrysler.com/dccom...0-0-0-0-0.html
2. Chrysler Museum we meet and took pictures at this museum on the last michigan GTG and it is behind DCX HQ so it is very close
http://www.chryslerheritage.com/
3. Great Lakes Crossing about ten minutes north of the hotel is one of the local malls http://www.shopgreatlakescrossing.com/
4. Somerset Mall another local mall about 15 minutes south of the hotel
http://www.thesomersetcollection.com/
5. Meadow Brook Hall located on Oakland University it is the fourth largest historic house in the United States
http://www2.oakland.edu/oakland/OUpo...ex.asp?site=87

These are a few things that are located around the area where the hotel is. Anyone who knows any other places to go please add them to the list.

RPM and Fuzz;
What about contacting DCX to see if we could park our cars in their display area? Parking is the biggest problem that I foresee around Woodward with that many XFs...I got lucky last year and parked in the Chrysler area, but I was the only XF.

That would be SWEET!
I wouldn't know how to go about setting that up though. Would you or someone else know how to check on it?

Well I sent a message to the Chrysler Group from the main website. I will be sure to post a response when I get one. It would be sweet if they allow us to park at their display!!! Hopefully I get a response soon and who knows, maybe they will allow us to park there.

Lets see what the good old boys at Chrysler can do for us? I can not guarantee anything, but lets see what will happen with this?

Let me check on a few things and we will see what we will see? Nobody get their hopes up quite just yet! I don't want to burst no bubbles...

RPM... How many vehicles are we talking about? Really... Don't leave anyone out, I hate it when not everyone is allowed in to the pit area.

XFH, I would like to see 20 Crossfires there, but will it happen? Not sure, some people may have to forego the trip if something comes up, and some more may want in the closer we get to August.
I would hope that a minimum of 15 would show and would guess the max would be 25 - hard to say though.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

25 Crossfires rolling in from the midwest... that should carry some weight...

Let's see...

Again, no guarantees but this could be possible. I'll get back to you with details ASAP.

XFH

Anything you can do to make this happen will be greatly appreciated and maybe it will change the way some of the members feel about DCX. I know that Dr. Z what one of the people that made the XF a reality, and it would be great to see that many XFs in one place.
Here I go getting my hopes up.

The heck with Dr. Z ... This would be grass roots good Ol'Boy Chrysler favors at work here. But Chrysler does need some lifting right now, doesn't it...

Please understand, No Guarantees... the count is 25 XF max... right?
I don't want to leave anyone out hanging... that would be just as bad!
