Talking Fluid Leak

To The Forum Knowledge Heads:
2006 convertible roadster.. 6900 miles .. on an incline with the front end pointed
downward, noticed a fluid leaking running forward to the edge of the pavement .. backed to
level ground and started looking at all the possible simple things; re: connections to the
reservoir / hoses to the radiator / hoses to the heater core .. nothing, dry as a bone.. I
opened the holding recovery tank and noticed it down a bit ? Went searching and found it
wet behind the passenger front wheel/tire where the shroud and the body meet ? Any
ideas ? I did fill the windshield washer container the week before .. NOW, the fluid in the
reservoir for the radiator is a bluish color and of the fluid for the washer was blue .. smelled
the dripped fluid and couldn't determine if radiator .. HELP in diagnosis please .. Dick in RDU

The windshield washer reservoir has an overflow on it and it drains where you say it is wet. The reservoir holds 4 liters after the light comes on, any more just drains out. On a slope I guess it rose to the overflow mark or some that had overflowed when you filled it managed to drain from where it was trapped.

Thank you ! I hope that is the problem.. I thought about it and you knowing where the overflow is,
might just solidify it .. thanks
