hi guys I'm new to the Forum this is my second Crossfire convertible I have read many a post on the problems of the top not going down well I have the same problem Windows go down after that keep pushing the button and all it does is beep took it to the dealership and they said they wanted replace everything $3,500 I did take it over to a local gentleman in my area he's had the car for 3 weeks still can't figure out the problem any form numbers that can recommend an expert on this particular problem I live in Volusia County Florida willing to travel with the vehicle in Florida to resolve the problem any help would be appreciated thank you Bob w
There is a switch located on the passenger side top rail about where the passengers ear would be. latch the top and try moving the slider up and down. Sometime it doesn't make good contact, especially if it sits awhile.
When the top snaps up and the windows go down that switch moves and makes contact. Sometimes mine sticks or doesn't make good contact until I jiggle it a few times. Could be other things but that is an easy check. It is on the top bow about where the passengers ear would be. It is not easy to see.
