I'd like to request the TWINS be sent down my way for my March GTG. If I could get them by the 10th of March and then I'll send them out after our GTG on the 15th.

Question Re: Traveling CrossfireForum Bears...

Where are Cross & Fire? Who has them? What have they been doing? Where will the be for the Holidays? Are they, OK?
Say Hi to them, from Irene & I, we miss them!

Well, here is the 'tour' that Cross & Fire have been on since they came here...

November 16th, the night they arrived, the first thing they wanted to do was drive my SRT6 to the restaurant.

I scolded them and they rode over with us to the Elephant Bar on Airport Blvd. in Burlingame, CA for some dinner.

Here we are all enjoying our drinks and meal. (What's left of them)

That Saturday we had our usual Sushi night. Our servers Kieko and Jessica were kind enough to pose with Cross & Fire.

Later the next week, before Thanksgiving, our entire apartment complex was given 60 day notices. All 36 units. So Cross & Fire helped us look for apartments.

The day after Thanksgiving Cross & Fire came over with us to my in-laws to help decorate the tree.

Of course the first thing I had to do was get them out of the tree to do work!

I think they did an excellent job... and so do they.

A few days later we found a new apartment and set our moving date as the 7th of December.

November 27th, we took a trip to Disneyland. We were afraid of loosing one or both of the bears, so we brought back mouse ears for them to wear for a week instead.

December 15th and we are still unpacking, the bears have been very helpful. I will be sending them on their way this week.

Cheers!

I have just had my 2004 Crossfire three weeks, so I am still in shock, what a cool car. I would love to share Fallbrook CA with Cross and Fire, when they are free from their current bookings.

BTW, are all CF's unlabled. There is no exterior mention of the name or model ver on mine. I have not seen a single one in San Diego since I bought mine, but I m enjoying people stopping me and asking about it.

Merry Merry to all

Whoever the previous owner was 'debadged' the car. If it was a 2004... you only have the base model. In 2004 there was no limited or SRT6.

Welcome to the forum!

Super, I look forward to the drive and visit. I am amazed not to see any on the road. I guess that means we have collector cars.

Thanks for your reply.

Any other SD folks out there want to say hi? I live in Fallbrook, and the car club up here puts on a car show of sports cars during the summer. Why don't we try to make ourselves known by bringing up the SD Crossfires to show off? There are plenty of Porsches and vets, Lamborgini's and Mustangs, but no Crossfires. Maybe the bears could make an appearance too.

Contact me for details.

Welcome to the forum!
While it's only the base model, I believe it has all of the features of the limited, so technically there was a limited model, but no base model. The "base" model didn't come out until after 2004 I believe. I could be wrong though.

What I meant was that there was no model designated as "Base" or "Limted"... just one model... and some options... nothing else.

Until they start designating models ("SRT6", "Limited" and "Base") then there is one and it's usually considered the "Base" model until some other designation is used.

At least that's the way I always understood it... but I've been wrong before.

I am planning on taking my wife to NYC in June for our 25th anniversary. I'm thinking we could take Cross and Fire out to a Broadway show, a trip on the subway, a shot from the top of the Empire State building, last but not least to see the grand lady herself, the statue of Liberty (who else)?

Let me know when they become available.

Apparently the original idea of having them for a week and passing them along like a cheap french hooker has gone straight out the window!

At the rate they are travelling I might see them sometime by the end of next year!

Julian,

I sent Cross & Fire UPS, to MMZ_TimeLord, & they were delivered at 2:36 PM on November 15, 2007 in SAN MATEO, CA 94401.

I think they may be hiding in a moving box somewhere, since they where moving on Dec 7th

Anyone get a Ransom Note?

Bill
