Central Texas Crossfires (CTC) New Members Welcomed

Presently the CTC is inactive, however some of us meet at local cruise-ins.

Central Texas Crossfires (CTC) is about socializing, showing our Crossfires, making friends and having fun. Socializing by setting aside the time to visit with the friends that were made through CTC. Showing our cars entertains the public as Crossfires are rarely seen in large numbers. Making friends and having fun while doing this.

Attending a get-together (GTG) or Cruise-in shows support for CTC and ensures a successful turnout. Only a few hours once a month do we have the opportunity to GTG with our cars, spending time with friends that were made through CTC and having at least one thing in common (Crossfire) .

At least one GTG and Cruise-in per month on a Saturday or Sunday morning would be sufficient. A CTC member can plan a GTG and start a participation list. Plan a GTG that doesn't involve getting our cars dirty or is late in the afternoon. GTGs will be cancelled due to bad weather.

New members wanting to participate in our GTG or Cruise-ins are always welcomed. To become a CTC member, attend a CTC GTG or Cruise-in and let us know you would like to be a member. There are no dues, just friendships.

You do not have to be a CTC member to enjoy a GTG or Cruise-in.

Still looking for new members, hopefully those who joined us at last Sunday's GTG will become CTC members. Also this is a reminder that next Friday is the 1st Friday of the month to meet at Biff Buzby's at 6:00 p.m. Let's have a bigger turn out than the last one. A comment was made by a looker, that was the most Xfires he has seen there. Let's blow their minds this time.

Hey guys, It's looking good for the CTC t-shirts. How about the ctc logo on the back and your name on the front (breast) for about $12-15 bucks each. In royal blue or ash gray. Also working on some Crossfire shirts like the one I have, Will be the same price range. I'm gonna get at least 2 CTC shirts each for me and the better half. Start thinking about what you want. We should be able to get these by/on the 1st friday of november. Anyone else who wants one send me a pm and I'll check on shipping etc. Will post more info asap.

Old Man,

Thanks. I see you are from Cental Florida. I just recently moved from Ocala, Fl. this past February. I made a post about having a GTG in this area with the intentions of starting a club. With 6 Charter Members, the Central Texas Crossfires was created. Maybe you can get something going there. Our membership is slowly increasing and hopefully with this GTG we'll sign up more members. Our purpose is to socialize, show off our cars, have fun and make friends. There is no membership fee or any other agenda. Hopefully if you are in the area, you are welcome to join in our GTGs. If you relocate in the area, you are welcome to become a member.

Know of any XF groups in Houston?

Re: Central Texas Crossfires (CTC) New Members Welcomed

There are several Crossfire owners in Houston who've posted, I don't think they've organized as a club such as ours.

Thanks, we hope to see a club get started in the DFW area. We will keep ours going. Maybe one day all Texas Crossfire Clubs can have an annual meet.
